Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what happens with it — in plain words.
Last updated: October 2026Who we are
Printaris is a small local 3D printing workshop in Ioannina, Greece. For the data we handle through this website, we act as the Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679). The quickest way to reach us for anything privacy-related is the form on the Contact page.
What we collect and why
When you write to us through the contact form, we collect only what is needed to answer you: your name, your email address, the content of your message and — if you choose to attach one — a single reference image. There are no user accounts, no payment details and no database behind this site: your message is forwarded to our email so we can read it and reply with a quote. The legal basis is taking steps before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — you asked for a quote, we give you one.
Where your data goes
Messages are handled exclusively by us. The workshop's email is hosted on Gmail (Google LLC), which processes the data for our account as a processor. Additionally, to keep the form free of automated submissions, its anti-spam filter temporarily looks at the IP address of each request (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — it is not linked to any other activity and is never used for advertising or profiling. Otherwise, we do not sell or share your data with anyone.
How long we keep things
We keep the correspondence only as long as it is useful: to answer you, to complete your order and to preserve the history of our collaboration for future orders. When the data is no longer needed — or whenever you ask us — we delete it.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access your data, rectify or erase it (“right to be forgotten”), restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, or object to it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr). Send your request through the Contact form — we answer within 30 days, as provided by the Regulation.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and no tracking of any kind, and embeds no third-party services that follow you around. Since we place nothing, there is no cookie consent banner anywhere on the site: there is simply nothing to accept.
Changes
If we ever change how we process data (for example, if we add a visitor statistics tool in the future), we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
